What Oscar Wilde is referring to is authenticity; being connected to who you really are deep inside.
To be authentic is to know your truth.
To know and embrace who you are and show up as that person every day.
To tell it as you see it, as you feel it and as you believe it.
It’s about leaving your ego, the personas you adopt, the masks you wear and the stories you tell behind, because they are not who you really are.
You must clean up your ‘inner’ house and get rid of the things that keep you disconnected.
You must look in all the corners, behind the furniture and in all the cupboards and clear out those parts of you that are keeping you stuck in a pattern of expression that is not you.
The good news is, the more cleaning you do, the more your true self shines through and the more you live your life from a place of authenticity.
